In 1954, Swiss engineer Walter Werner Fischer set out to answer it, in a workshop in Morges. He built the world’s first high-quality sealed connector, and ten years later, in 1964, the world’s first hermetic connector, a breakthrough that made his name synonymous with reliability in the most extreme conditions.
More than seven decades later, that founding question still drives us. The third generation of the family is writing the next chapter: turning a connector pioneer into a technology group with a vision of connectivity as one continuous chain, reimagined together with its customers.
