Founded in 1954, Fischer Connectors designs, develops, and deploys high-performance connectivity solutions tailored to applications requiring durability, faultless precision and quality in demanding operating environments such as defense & security, medical, test & measurement, unmanned systems, robotics and industrial automation.

 

Tested to the highest quality and reliability standards in ruggedness, sealing, data transmission and miniaturization, the company’s interconnects include electrical and optical connectors, cable assemblies and electronic solutions for any power, signal and data requirement and application. Easy to integrate and to use, they are designed with human factors and system-level engineering in line with SWaP (size, weight and power) requirements. More than 30,000 references are available in five product lines which comprise low/high voltage, coax/triax, hybrid, fiber optic, push-pull, circular, and even fluid/gas connectors. Specific features and benefits include high data speeds, high density, IP68/69 sealing, and resistance to extreme temperatures, shock, vibration, radiation and chemicals. Cable assembly capabilities include design assistance, technical drawings and 100% electrical and sealing testing for high-speed data transmission, Single Pair Ethernet, miniature, silicone, fiber optic, rugged and optimized cabled solutions. Electronic solutions comprise a wide array of tailored flex circuits, adapter modules, unmanaged PoE+ switches and managed switches with Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) technology, rugged flash drives, visible low-light cameras, and tactical power & data hubs for sights, radios, displays and batteries body-worn by dismounted soldiers and security officers.

Founded in 2019, Wearin’ creates IoT wearable solutions that improve the safety and efficiency of connected humans such as security agents, lone workers, firefighters and first responders. It makes high-risk work environments safer and smarter with real-time, actionable insights from field data generated by agent-worn modular sensors integrated into field gears. Wearin’s solutions allow connected agents and units to react immediately to emergencies, while predicting and mitigating risks; enhance their situational awareness through improved coordination and response times with real-time, two-way data flows and automatic alerts, including biometric-based alarms used to detect acute stress, for example; ensure their mobility and comfort with easy-to-use, lightweight, integrated devices and centralized power; and protect their sensitive data and privacy with secure, end-to-end encryption and GDPR compliance.

CEO

Jonathan Brossard is CEO and was appointed to the Executive Team of the Fischer Connectors Group in 2016, at the age of 28.

With his clear and ambitious vision and entrepreneurial focus on innovation and technology, he has invested in R&D and developed a 10-year growth strategy to increase the Group’s competitivity and capacity as a global connectivity solution partner.

Belonging to the third generation of the founding Fischer family, he joined Fischer Connectors’ Board in 2015 and was Business Development Manager until he took office as CEO to spearhead the expansion of the company’s worldwide imprint, widen the group’s scope of activities across the entire value chain of connectivity, and foster corporate culture with innovative partnerships and customer-centric collaborations. From 2016-2019, Fischer Connectors’ global workforce grew to reach over 500 professionals, and turnover increased by over 50%.
